As before 1990, 2.9l has no power, ran 10-15 mph tops, and oil is coming out the top of the dip stick. Checked pcv valve as suggested but it did not help, does anyone haveother suggestions. Thank you.

What's your question?my Isuzu 4ja1 engine .my problem is the oil comes from deep stick

i think you mean
when running the engine
the DIP STICK seal as it fits the dip stick tube end. leaks oil
this a bad PCV valve.
excess crank case pressures.... cause by not doing service on car.
or worse a very worn out engine with huge blow by gassed.
is engine miles high? over 300k? miles?
or the dips stick seal there is bad.... looking at it tells you that.

What can be the problem when oil is coming out off the dip stick when driving on a hight speet

Possibly too much oil or you have a broken piston ring causing the sump to pressurise and force oil out of the dipstick. Check the PCV valve which is on the top of the rocker cover as well, this may have jammed shut.

I have a problem with oil blowing back through the dipstick in my 1994 Jeep Wrangler YJ 6 cyl engine... I have built a few engines of various types over the years and have done all my maintenance all my...

No solution from me, Note: Sounds like your pretty familiar with the Positive crankcase ventilation (PCV). You said the valve is pulling a vacuum I am assuming it is from the intake manifold side correct? With the PCV was working sure seems like it would keep the oil from coming out of the dipstick tube. I am stumped as well, sounds almost like too much blow by from the cyclinders you already stated that with the possible broken compression rings?

The fuel/air inlet is alway covered in oil from the engine and this causes the top part of the engine to be covered in oil. How do you stop this oil?

The first thing I would do is to mae sure the oil cap is installed properly. Then I would check the PCV system. A faulty PCV system can cause oil to be forced out of the cap under pressure. Most of the time, replacement of the PCV Valve will fix this, but the hoses and other components also should be checked. If your cap is good and the PCV system is working properly, it is most likely caused by combustion gasses entering the crankcase due to worn piston rings or a cracked piston. If this is the case, the only fix would be engine overhaul or replacement.

I have a 1998 mitsubishi eclipce rs. My oil dip stick keeps coming unpluged while driving what can couse this to happen.

You probably have a plugged PCV valve , normally located on a valve cover. If it is plugged pressure will build up in the motor. The easiest place for pressure to escape is the dip stick hole.

yOUR pcv valve is no good. It allows crankcase pressure to build up and oil will come out of your antennae if you drove it hard enough. Replace the pcv valve.

1990 ford 2.9l in a bronco II- it has no power and oil is pumping up and leaking out the top of the oil dipstick. was told it has a blown head gasket but no water in the oil and the engine does not smoke....

Remove and plug the PCV valve hose with bolt to check and see if this is the issue, many times the crankcase is not venting properly and the PCV valve needs replacment it is inexpensive enough just replace the PCV valve located on one of the valve covers it has a hose going to it.

Oil coming out of dipstick

What engine? The oil level is good, not to high? If yes, it has too much crankcase pressure. Change the PCV valve and check the crankcase air filter. Also make sure you have vacuum at the PCV.
