Why is there water on passanger floor after a heavy rain?

Check for leafs that are blocking drain holes on both ends . Air inlet cowl in front of wind shield. This blockage would cause water to back up and enter the Hvac air inlet.

When i run air condition leaks water on passenger side floor mat

The usual problem when this happens is that the drain line from the AC condenser is plugged causing it to fill up with water which eventually finds a way out and drains onto the passenger side floor. It is fairly easy to fix but requires getting underneath the car on the front passenger side, locating the drain line, normally a flexible hose coming down through the frame roughly below the dashboard. and running something like a coat hanger up through the drain line to remove the blockage. Beware that water will start to run out the hose as the blockage is removed.
Some cars have this problem more frequently than others and you may have to repeat this procedure every year or so. When it starts dripping water on the passenger side again it's overdue.

My passenger side floor is saturated with water when it rains. When I make right turn I hear what seems like water sloshing.

Hello,
If you can smell a little bit of a sweet smell from the water on the passenger side floor, or if it has an oily film to it, you may have a leaking heater core.

They usually leak on the passenger side floor, and that might explain why you hear water sloshing around.

If you can run the engine for about 5 minutes and then turn your heater on. Look under the dash in the area where the dash meets the floor board and see if you can see anything leaking.

I hope this helps you.

Where is the AC Condenser on a 2002 Dodge Dangero? The Condenser has a Hole in it

the condenser is between the drivers and passenger side under the dash. I am assuming that water is draining onto the passengers side? if it is I would try to see if the drain is plugged, as that is easier to fix then pulling apart the inside of the vehicle. Good Luck Tim

1999 Dodge Durango....it has started leaking under driver mat?

I have water coming from under the dashboard as well when the A/c is running. My fathernlaw is a mechanic and he thinks the drain for thea/c is plugged underneath. He says you must have the vehicle on the hoist and get it from underneath. I am having other issues with my Dodge caravan, and is been in the shop, so I have not had a chance to get under and look at it and try to fix it

Heating / air conditioning control stuck to front defrost vents

There is a vacuum leak under the hood. Find the vacuum line on the passenger side where it comes through the firewall and follow it to the engine. You system needs vacuum to operate and without it the default setting is on defrost for safety reasons.

Passenger side blows hot air when front control set to Air

you cant adjust it ,this requires the dealers computer to re set it,or a phyiscal control has packed up like a vacumn pipe has split where it pushes onto the valve that controls the flap in the heater unit.

1999 durango brakeup when driveing when you floor it runs smoth

Is the Service Engine Light on? If so, (or if not) - first take it to a local parts store and have them run a diagnostics on it (should be free, and only takes about 5 minues) - make sure too, that your air and fuel filters are new (clean) - it could also be a plugged fuel injector - 1st and foremost, I recommend having the diagnostics done first. That will bring up any codes and possibly help fix the issue (if this has not been fixed yet) Hope this is helpful to you. If you ask me, it sounds like the O2 sensor(s) are bad - even if one is bad, replace both. Once you have fixed the problem, if the service engine light is on, simply go back to the auto store where you had the diagnostics done, and request to have the codes clear. NOTE: disconnecting the battery in some vehicles for a certain number of times will cause the service light to come on as well (as I have been told).

Carpet on passenger side gets wet

The drain from the a/c under the dash is plugged up and needs to be cleared. If you check from under the vehicle, u should be able to find the end of the drain tube on the passenger side, behind or near the front wheel. Carefully run a wire up the tube to dislodge the obstruction (goop build up). You can also use compressed air.
