Fuel pump wont turn on

i got a fuel pump. it just stopped working. rewired the positive and neg wires and it worked again. then shut off. got a new one wrong kind but still wired it up to see if itd click on and nothing. i checked the fuse its good. cleaned the sensor because it was corroded and still... nothing. i have a 1989 240sx with a k24e.

Check the fuel pump relay. Swap it with a similar one in the fuse box.
