If I were you, I'd see if the previous owner had any service records. If no services have been done, you may need to get the following:
spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor, oil, oil filter, fuel filter, air filter and I'd also service the transmission and the rear differential. Too many people neglect the under car services especially the fuel filter and when any one of these items fail it's going to be a lot of money. These are the things I'd advise. Kind regards.

sounds like a faulty crank position sensor. its located behind the crank pully. they are known for failing. you will want the front crank seal done at this time also.

What are the parts you need to do a tune up ?

A basic tune-up would be spark plugs. Make sure you use a/c delco plugs! A major tune-up would include plugs, wire, cap, and rotor. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using!

Lots of possibilities but I would start with a temp sensor. Did you replace wires and plugs with the tune up? Did it run like this before tune up?

Sounds like a timming issue. Have you done a tune up? If so I'ld have someone check your timing. If not, do a simple tune up first to eliminate the possibilties of misfires.

well you have a misfire on #2 cylinder (po302). possible bad coil or wire. hard to estimate cost without diagnosing first.po 705 is transmission range circuit. possible bad prndl switch or out of adjustment. Again would need further diagnosis to estimate.

for a proper tune you can purchase everything you need at a auto parts dealer like O'reilly's or Auto Zone you can also purchase a manual that details the steps to take to insure it's done properly. the manual is not expensive and most tune ups are done for around a 100 dollars
