My 2002 lexus gs300 will not start. It will turn over will not fire even if i try to jump it off. What to do or check ne t help?

When the anti theft system was created, the dealers forgot to tell the new car buyers about how much the fob matters to the vehicle, without it,owners are stuck, your anti theft device is activated, you need to lock and unlock your doors a couple times with the key fob,not the key,and then you need to put the key in the ignition and start it,if you dont have your key fob, call your car dealer to get a new one, they are programmed for each car only, you cannot bypass it.if you lost your fob or never had it,whatever, you need to have the exact fob that came with that car from the factory, the key and fob have a chip in them that only go to that certain car,if you do not have it,then you need to buy a new one from the dealer or ebay and then you need to contact your dealer about programming the fob to your car,you might not have to have it towed if they have the documents from the car,the only other way is to get a junk car, with the steering column, key, fob and all computer boxes and door locks and switch them,(i just did that with a 98 dodge dakota, and it works.)

A seized up door lock actuator. You can try freeing it up by spraying a good penetrating oil, my favorite is PB Blaster. If it wont free up you will need to replace it.

Key fob lights up but doesn't work even with a new battery

I'm more familiar with Range Rovers and Saab's when it comes to key fobs but if you changed the battery you have to re-program the key fob. If you do not have an owner's manual that can take you through the steps you might want to try: push and hold the lock button on the key fob, put it in the driver's side door and turn to lock. With the button still depressed turn back to open, remove the key and release the button. If this doesn't work check any and all fuses associated with your system and last but not least you could take it to a dealer. Good luck!

Changed battery in key fob now unable to turn immobiliser off on my renault megane coupe s reg

there will be a combination of button presses required to reconfigure your fob to the immobiliser. you dont need to get it recoded so dont pay for it. try these:
hold the a button down for ten seconds until the light comes on constantly. then press it twice quickly and it will reprogram.
or press lock about ten times, then open ten times. this should work.
i had this problem on a rover and just pressing the buttons loads of times may allow it to be reprogrammed.
also check the battery isnt upside down in the fob.

My remote in my keys no longer work to unlock my doors or trunk. I have changed the batteries in the keys, the light blinks when I push it. What could be wrong? I have a 2001 GS300

Most likely: You have to now "reprogram"your key fob and car to recognize each other. Look in your User's Manual for the car or, if it's an aftermarket fob/lock system, look in the user's manual for that. If there's nothing about battery replacement/reprogramming procedures, and it's a factory system, head into a dealer to reprogram it. It could run you up to $120, but that's cheaper than buying a new fob or system. If it's and aftermarket system and the manual says nothing, go to the place you had it installed (repair facility, Future Shop, etc) and have them reprogram it. If they installed it, they should know how to reprogram it.

Keep in mind, that's only the most likely option. Another possibility is that the receiver in the car, transmitter in the remote, or lock actuators/relays, etc in the car are the issue. It may not have been batteries in the first place at all. That said, it was most likely the batteries, and your best bet is trying to figure out how to reprogram the fob and car to recognize each other.
