Air will not blow to windshield or floor only front vents. whats the matter?

Always give details about your vehicle. Yr. make, model etc. Some vehicles use vacuum to control the HVAC doors. Some use electric motors. Could be a leaky vacuum switch, actuator, bad motor. Broken door.

Looks like other people have had your problem. Have a look here. http://repairpal.com/heating-and-ac-temperature-and-air-delivery-mode-door-actuators-may-fail-266

2002 vw polo 1.4 only blows cold air (fan works fine on all speeds)

In all modern cars there is a tiny DC electric motor driven gear drive that moves a plastic door that blends heated and cooled air from the AC and the heater core, this is called (interestedly enough) the air temperature control blend door actuator. The motor that moves this door fails because the door starts sticking from warping, most common complaint is no heat but it can be no AC as well. To replace these parts (blend door and blend door actuator) you must remove the entire dash from the car. Always have this problem confirmed by a dealer or qualified repair shop as it is a very expensive repair.

NO HEAT,BUT BLOWER FAN WORKS POSSSIBLE THERMOSTAT GOING OUT

Hello: Check the temperature door. Make sure it is in the heat position. The temp door should be on the passenger side under the dash, remove the cover and with key on move the temp control from heat to cool. If the temp control is manual there will be a cable that is connected to the arm that moves the door. If the system is automatic there will be a electric actuator that moves the door.

Electric folding door mirror not working

Try helping the mirror move by hand. The pivot rusts from not being used. Gently work it around.

Blend door for front temp control is stuck in the 'cold' position this winter. Is there a way to manually move and fix the door to get some heat?

you have to replace the blend (heat/cold) door motor, you can try to remove motor and turn door and try to jam something in door handle slot ,that the part that the motor turns, hope this helps.

Electrical mechanism will not unlock front passenger door nor can it be unlocked manually at door handle. Inside door handle will not move so door cannot be opened. Consequently, cannot remove inner door...

possibly your linkage from the electric solenoid and door lock to the locking mechanism has either fallen apart inside the door or also possibly it has gotten "over-center" and cannot operate properly from either the automatic electric or manually from the key, can you hear and click from the solenoid when you operate this electrically? and see lock button move a little, this would be a sign it's over-center.

Front passenger door lock won't lock/unlock

You need to replace the electric door lock solenoid. The electrical part of the solenoid may be compromised and is not letting the solenoid arm retract or extend to lock/unlock your door.

Ford Escort 1998 central locking

Are you talking about the key cylinder or the electric lock button? If you are talking about the key,you need to remove the door panel and watch the lock rod move up and down. There is a plastic clip that pops open or breaks from age. If you are talking about the electric lock, will the passenger door lock move when you press the lock button on the drivers door? Does the passenger door make a grunt noise when trying to lock/unlock?
