Question about 1999 Porsche Boxster
My 1999 Porsche Boxster's engine light went on today @ 25k miles. Ironically the oil light says that I am now one quart low ( accurate per the dipstick). Are these issues related or is the check engine light emissions related? Is there a way get a code reading without going to the dealer?
Take the car to an autoparts store and have them scan the computer. Most parts stores will do the scan for free. I wouldn't think that the two issues are related. Hope this helped and best wishes.
