Nissan pickup wiring diagram

If power is not found at the a/c clutch, the relay is faulty. If power is found, suspect a bad ground, or a defective compressor. the relay in your car controls the ac compressor, but check main a/c fuse first, to see if that is ok! is power going from switch to relay. if so the relay is bad. thats why it will not go to compressor. Good-day! But you can go to this site for more

My 1999 chevy venture just had a compressor replaced and ac charged. It was working for 3 weeks, and now is blowing warm air??

it may be a slow leak in the system or it may have ait in the lines go under the hood there will be two valves a high and a low side test both and see if you have any freon if so it may be air in the line or even a bad comprssor clutch but not likely

I have a 2003 Mercury Sable and the AC comprssor is about to break my question is can I still drive my car if the compressor does bresk.

If the compressor locks up or the bearing goes bad in the clutch, it will ruin the belt. All the accessories attached to the belt will not work, like your alternator, power steering pump, and most importantly your water pump.

When i switch a/c on i see a/c light on , but only fan no condition , i test all relay , are working i checked the fuse is ok , but i relase no power drwing to the comprssor . i want know where that wire...

The compressor clutch wire goes to the pressure switch , which is often located on the side of the evaporator, or in the line going to the evaporator. When there is enough system pressure, the switch has continuity, and if the system is low or empty, the switch is open, to prevent the compressor from running . If your system is fully charged, you can probably guess the switch is bad, but most likely your AC system is low on refridgerant, and keeping the compressor from running.
hope this helps!

Ac compressor not starting. added one can of 134R and no help. had a rebuild last year of the engine and has not worked since. Thinking it might be a wire some where.

Check for voltage at the AC clutch with AC on and engine running. If no voltage there, check voltage at AC clutch cycling switch.

Ac won't turn on?

Your compressor clutch is not engaged that was why AC is not on. The clutch is controlled by several sensors: coolant temp, refrigerant pressure, compressor speed sensor, evaporator temp sensor... First to make sure your Clutch is working then start tracing back to these other sensors. Look at the compressor, there is a plug of electrical wire on it. One prong is for speed sensor feedback, the others are for power connectors to turn on the clutch. Jump wires to power to clutch to check if it is working. That is just the beginning of AC troubleshooting. Good luck.

I was told to replace the air compressor on my

All your culprits are correct , and no the fans will come on when pressure is built upon the sensor on or near the drier when the comprssor kicks on.

Just replaced the comprssor on my 2001 ford escort but it will not engage. tested the wires with a test light and I have no power plug that connects to the compressor. Key and ac are on.

Have you evacuated the system and charged it with Freon? There has to be some pressure in the system to activate the low pressure switch and allow power to compressor clutch.

A/c compressor

hello. find your receiver bottle, it is black or silver with 2 lines going into it (usually on side of engine toward rear, it will also have a switch into the side of the bottle with two wire, disconect the electrical connector from switch, then put a paper clip between both female connectors. turn on the vehicle and AC, if the compressor turns on and off each time you do this it is working. it is possable for the clutch to work and not the compressor, be sure to put the system under a vacuum before injecting R134....and most important use the correct amount of specified oil. good luck, marty
