Question about 1996 BMW 318
My 1998 expedition would not start the other night. thought iwas the battery , but the next morning at cranked right up. two days later same thing dead but i hear a clicking sound down by my fuse box. alternator about 2 years old so is the battery. what could be the problem ?
Try removing the battery terminals and clean both posts and terminals. Coat same with an anti-corrosion grease. Wash your hands after this to prevent mysterious holes in your clothes. Start the engine and measure the voltage at the battery terminals--should read 13.5 to 14.5 volts. Hope this helps.
