You may have pick up some debris on the road and it has wrapped around your front drive axle. That's honestly all I can think of as long as there are no other changes in the operation of the vehicle.

Does the engine seem to be sitting unevenly? If so, you may have a broken/loose engine mount on the rear side of the engine that is allowing the engine to contact the firewall area near the throttle foot-feed area.

It sounds like a broken motor mount.
It may be a "lost" motor mount screw / nut.

Symptom? It probably makes more noise/thump when you make a sharp turn to right or left.
Also when you "rev" the engine...

Hope this helps!

Can you fix a piston rod knocking without pulling motor,by dropping oil pan?

Depends on the car, Some you can some you cant. Generally speaking if the car has rear wheel drive and conventional gearbox you got a chance. Only way to tell is to look under the car and see how accessible the sump pan is

My Opel Corsa dies down during driving, it will only start again after 7 to 10 mins, l have no clue whats happening.

No idea offhand to be honest i would need my head under the bonnet to know what wrong .could be anything from the gauze filter in the fuel tank on the bottom of the fuel pump becoming chocked up and leaving the car allows it to drop away to a faulty pump overheating or the contacts ,maybe even a ignition module overheating ,Best advice is ask a local mechanic to have a look for you as normally these early opel corsas with the 4 cylinder engine are bullet proof they are even valve free if the timing belt snaps .

My trail blazer has something in the front end that is really growling. it started out just a slight noise, now it is really loud!! I don't feel anything like a wheel bearing being loose, just really loud.

Had the same problem in my 2004 Trailblazer. Finally figured out it was the air pump on the driver side right under the driver side floorboard. Took it off and it was full off water because of a design flow by Chevrolet. I took the pump off and emptied the water out and dried it out real good and the noise stopped. I re routed the intake for the pump away from the front of the truck and haven't heard the noise since.

Front driver side suspension knock over bumps

See if you can bounce car and replicate the noise. If you can, you should be able to find it, and put your hand on it. Stabilizer bushing are a place to look, both at the lower a arm and on the frame. If you narrow it down to the strut, it will need to be replaced. The front trans mount also goes bad, try putting it in drive with your foot on the brake and give it some gas and see if the engine moves an excessive amount.

Here's my problem... I'm thinking this is a CV joint problem and am looking for some re-assurance before I start ripping and tearing. Upon inspection, all the CV boots are intact. There is no excessive...

when a cv joint is going bad on turns whether it's to the right or left you'll hear a clacking noise when it the out joint when is the inner joint must of time you would feel a chimeing on the front end another way to test is put you car on drive and hold the brakes tite and excelerate the engine at the same time if the cv joint is bad your going to feel a loud noise and vibration if you don't feel nothing then you have a transmission problem

Loud ticking/knocking/rattling sound when I start/accelerate

hi is it miss-firing as it sounds like a knocking noise can be anything but if you can feel it on the accelerater pedal then the noise sounds like its on the inlet valve side which would transfere the noise up the throttle body where the accelerater is located it could be something as simple as a tappet come loose to a burned valve you need to have a look do a compression test and take the rocker cover off see if theres anything come loose yates210456
