Your fuel pump will fail soon and get ready its a $400 dollar part if you can do it yourself. the next symptom will be sputtering! go home or to a shop it won't last much longer....trust me!

Sounds like a bad ground or the positive wire is rubbing ground causing this visually inspect the wires from the tank as well as use a mirror to see up over the tank to the connections at the fuel pump itself and along the body of the vehicle
