Sounds like an electrical issue either not getting power to it or a bad ground you checked all the connections and fuses 1 st ? the O B C shouldn't have been the issue did you check to ensure the fuel pump cutoff switch had not engaged during installation of something find the cable and pull it usually in the trunk on the passengers side visible or behind the cloth panel trim usually has a yellow handle pull that to release the cut out feature

Lets start at the beginning. The engine computer grounds the pump relay. The relay gets power from the EFI relay when the key switch is on and from the starter fuse when the key switch is in the start position. Do you know if the pump relay is getting power from both sources and a ground from the computer ? Can you run a hot wire to the blue black wire going to the pump and keep it running ?

No fire , spark or fuel

Is it a 4 cyl or V6 - and you are talking about the EEC relay right ?

Both the fuel pump relay and EEC relay are grounded by the computer. The fuel pump relay magnet is powered by the same red wire the injectors are powered by coming from the EEC relay.
The actual power circuits for each relay comes from different fuseable links.
You would need to find out if the relays are being grounded by the computer with the key on, and if they are sending power out.
You might also want to check to see if you get a check engine light when you turn the key on to see if the computer is powered up.

94 caravan, fuel pump will not run and engine will not fire over. Help please!!!

I think the right direction will be a repair shop

Too many possibilities to guess, & we do a lot of that
as is.

Has to be diagnosed using wiring diagrams & other
reference material, you won't have access to.

I have 1986 Alfa Spider that won't start. Car has been sitting for a year. I replaced battery, fuel tank, fuel sender unit, both fuel pumps. I seems that the in tank pumps is not getting any po

Could be the main or fuel run relay located in the compartment under the luggage rack, passenger side, main relay also, fuse for the fuel relay 8amp. Electronic Control Unit is also located there.

Could be electrical, Hook up a timing light, three leads: Power, Ground, and one that goes around the wire to #1 cyl. Turn the engine over and see if there's firing. Note: u can check all 4 spark plugs this way.

Fuse lead goes to pin 30 of the fuel relay, u can jump 30 across to 57 and check for the pumps running, if not, change-I suggest both relays, main and fuel run relays. Both pumps get their 12v DC from the fuel run relay, both should be running when you switch ignition switch to on, then a tachymetric signal is fed from the coil to the relay to keep it running.

Not getting fire

You may be geting gas from the fuel pump but are the injector working or do they have power going to them. You can check the dark green & orange wire at any injector. Also check for power at the plug of the coil (there are two together but both get power from one place). The power wire for the coil also happens to be dark green and orange. If you are not getttting power to either one, check the auto shutdown relay (ASD). This relay stops power to the injectors and the coil but the fuel pump will still work. It doesn't shut down the fuel pump. You can let me know here or you can email me directly at csautomotivecars@att.net with all your information and I will be happy to help and no there is no cost. Just need to be sure if this is the case first (the ASD relay) to go any further. Also if you have a turbo this information isn't correct as far as the wire coloring goes.

1994 saturn 1.9L wont start

Try checking and making sure you are getting fuel to the fuel rail there should be a serator valve on the line on the engine. If you are not getting fuel to it make sure the fuel pump fuse and relay are in good working order. Check and see if you can hear the fuel pump running. If you are not getting fuel to the rails and can not hear the pump running the pump is possibly bad.

Crank no start: has no spark and only has injector pulse on cyl # 1. if you spray starting fluid directly into throttle body car starts and stays running and has spark and inj. pulse. once you turn the car...

Fuel pump, you have to have press in the rail to fire all injectors- she will run on ether but not good for her. Ck your pump and any related fuses, relays, wiring.

My 98 dakota wont fire

Check your Automatic Shutdown Relay in your fuse and relay box under the hood by the battery. The power supplied to the fuel pump, ignition coil, fuel injectors,  and parts of the power module is controlled by the logic module through the Automatic Shutdown Relay (ASD); the idea is to shut off fuel pressure and the ignition systems when the key is turned off to prevent fires, dieseling, and other problems.
The ASD relay is closed (allowing power to flow through it) when the ignition is first turned on. If the signal from the ignition reference is lost while the engine is running, the logic module cuts power to the ASD, which in turn removes power from the fuel pump, ignition coil, injectors and those parts of the power module.  This causes the engine to shut down.

The logic module monitors the relay driver.  If it senses that the relay driver is not responding correctly it will trigger a code. If the logic module does not sense an absence of current when the circuit is open, or 12 volts DC when the circuit is closed, it knows that the circuit is open or shorted, and triggers code 42. Failure of the automatic shutdown relay is often shown as inexplicable stalling or refusal to start. Good luck and hope this helps lead you in the right direction. Hint: The ASD can be triggered by a broken wire or short in another place, e.g. the fuel pump.
