How do i replace the o2 sensor for a 1994 subaru legacy?

The o2 sensor will look like a spark plug on your exhaust. it is going to atleast need one.. They are torqued to spec you can find that out from the dealer.. but they have a switch on them you just unplug use an wrench take that one out and then put the new one in.. Make sure it is torqued to spec.

Car dies after 20 minutes of driving, checked the alternator and battery. They are both good. Check engine light is on and code was the O2 sensor was the cause, is that right for a car uder 130,000 miles?

I have heard that the o2 sensor may be the issue for this problem in subaru. in chev though, the clutch sensorcauses the same problem. may check that too, if it has one.

I have a 1999 Subaru Legacy B4 twin turbo and the engine check light just will not go off. I have tried everything possible. I have checked the air-flow sensor. I have checked and changed the sparks plugs....

O2 sensor. 99% of the time it's these. First, however, go to a parts dealer and ask to have the codes reset. Drive it for about 2-3 days. If it comes back on, give it another day, and if still on, have codes reset and replace O2 Sensor(s).

Let me know if I can be of any more assistance.

Cylinder 1 misfire on my subaru!!

What you should check first is the spark plug for the #1 cylinder and see if there is a white film on it this would be a sign of a coolant leak which would cause a problem with the O2 sensor
