Question about 2004 Toyota ECHO

2004 Echo HB - can't get the clock to display on

2004 Echo HB - just purchased used; can't get the clock to display on the factory installed radio/cd system. The word clock is written on the control panel, but can't find any way to access it. The written manual, oddly enough, does not mention the sound system at all, and "clock" is not in the index. Any ideas how to make the clock display, and how to set it once it is displayed?

I came across a photo on an on-line review athttp://stuff.silverorange.com/images/ech... - you can see where it says "clock". So i'm hoping it has one. Manual does not cover the sound system at all - the whole system is not in the book. I read on-line that there wasn't a standard-feature system, each buyer had to choose what they wanted, so maybe that's why the manual doesn't cover it.

Replied, but not sure it went through - will try again. Found a photo on-line that shows the control panel -http://stuff.silverorange.com/images/ech... - "clock" is written on it. Am hoping it has one. Manual does not cover sound system at all, not the factory radio or CD player, which I know exist, or the theoretical clock. Thanks

How do you set the clock in a 2004 mustang radio cd player factory radio

There should be a menu button on the face. Press and scroll through the options until you get to time. Then use the arrow buttons to change hours and then minutes. Since you did not specify the radio model number, this is the best that can be done with the information at hand.

I have a 2004 freestar s with a factory am/fm radio. i installed an am/fm/cd radio. it will not recognize cd's in the player. tho original radio has only 1 plug port, the new radio has 2 ports. is the...

is it a new cd/radio ? the wiring is the same for a radio with or with out a cd player , the cd should work once the radio is connected , the other port you mention may be relevent as the original radio was a factory installed , these are usually designed to be useless to be used in other vehicles as a theft deterrent , i would remove the new radio and have a good search in the radio space as there may well be the second connector you require , be very carefull as there are many sharp edges and the apeture is not very large , the second connector , if there, will most likely be taped to another loom so as to keep it away from touching other parts so a good torch and have a search , keep me posted if you wish

I have a 2002 GMC with factory delco radio/CD clock works shows display but no sound can unplug from back and plug back with key on and will play turn key off and back on no sound. What do i look for next.

Sounds like a fault within the radio itself. This is not an uncommon problem, I would suggest either getting another factory radio, or installing an aftermarket.

Disconnect your negative battery cable for about 10min. After you re-connect, the stereo should reset itself and start functioning. Best of luck!
