What is the firing order of the gmc 250 in line 6 cylinder engine?

I'm not absolutely sure for the 1978 L6, however the
Standard for most L6's:
Firing Order:
1-5-3-6-2-4
Cylinders:
(back of engine)
........6
........5
........4
........3
........2
........1
(front of engine)
Distributor:
......(back)
.....6....2..(+)-screw
3..............4
(+).5....1
.....(front)

Let me know if this helped...
