I just had my visor break too....looks like a mfg defect? The plastic casing failed and I had to completely remove it by cutting through the fabric portion of the visor. I can't believe how much these things cost to replace! Seriously?.....over a hundred dollars! I will install mine myself, but to spend that much money for something that is a mere piece of plastic! That is highway robbery!

The plastic casing failed. Some said dealers will charge around $90-$160. It seems like a design issue. I have fixed mine and I am pretty sure it will last. Please watch my DIY video on YouTube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvPxParKy...

Droopy sunvisor for 2007 camry. Was able to pop off the visor assembly (driver-side) with clips intact. Appears that the mounting place in the roof is loose/broken. Is there a fix without repair by the...

I had the same issue with my wife's car, If it is the same problem as our the issue lies withing the visor itself. The shaft that enters the side of the visor become loose and it prevents the visor from staying flush with the ceiling. You can carefully take it apart and repair it, but it involves cutting the fabric. I would recommend getting a used visor.

I removed my 2007 toyota camry driver side sunvisor. I am trying to install the new one...there were no screws and it seems to just push in...my question...does it push in really hard??? I can't seem...

It should need a bit of force to get in. The end that is on the visor is a bit bigger than the area that it needs to go in to. Some rear view mirrors are the same way. Like a ball in a hole and once it is in it is able to adjust and retain position. Hope this helps!

How to remove driver's side sunvisor

its a simple plastic clip, take a small screwdriver and gently pry from different side, look for a small **** near the base, that is the intended pry point, if none, just try different sides until it pops off
