Where can I find the Fuel Level Sending Unit in my 2003 Diamante ? My fuel guage is reading empty and I know the dash guage works and the fuses are OK.

Sending unit is inside the tank. First, check that if you ground the signal wire near the tank then the gauge rises. If so, you must pull the unit from the tank.

Broken trip gauge on 1999 chevy blazer

There may be a blown fuse causing the trip meter failure and quite possibly the gauge reading failure. since you didnt say if they went out at the same same it is hard to say but checking the fuses is a likely culprit for the first problem. it is entirely possibly that you fuel guage just stopped sending the signal up to your guage. this is known to happen usually only remedied by replacing the fuel pump as it is part of the wiring on the pump itself. that is unless that fuse is the reason it is bad. the other thing is the possibility of a broken/shorted wire that provides the signal from the pump to the guage good luck

Fuel guage

the guage gets a earth signal from the sender ,, depending on the amount the guage rises accordingly ,, if the wire is touching earth any where the guage will go up to full,,,, disconnect the fuel sender and see does the guage drop,, it should if there is no short in the wiring ,,,,if it does drop you then have to recheck the sender ,,, if the guage stays full you have to check wiring for a short ,,,,, if you are able you could strip out the guage and disconnect the plug at the rear of it to make sure that the guage itself is not faulty,,,,

Silverado 2000 5.3 4x4 gas gauge not working properly. Listen I have installed (2) new fuel pumps and fuel level sensor. I installed a insturment cluster. I ran a new ground wire from fuel pump to...

there are 4 wires at the sender - and 3 wires for the vapour sensor-the two heavier wires are for the pump and the lighter wires are for the guage-the lighter purple wire should have 5 volts on it-if not you may have a wire or computer problem-th guage is an input to the pcm(computor) under the hood and then is transmitted via comm. line to the cluster-if the rest of the guages work in the cluster you need to look at the pcm or wiring to the tank

97 CHEVY ASTRO VAN - NON WORKING FUEL GUAGE

When you replaced the fuel pump, did you have you switch to the new harness? Check your wiring.
Could it simply be a relay?
My dash gauges went nuts but the car runs.
Do you hear the fuel pump running?
Did you replace the fuel filter? Should be on the frame under the driver.
Bosch fuel pumps are the way to go. The ret seem to **** out after 60,000.
Good luck.

Engine turns over but won't fire up. Relaced plugs, plug wire, dist cap and rotor. Still nothing. What should I look for next?

you're changing parts for nothing here, you need a spark tester(in line works best) injector signal tester(noid light) fuel pressure guage, and in a pinch compression guage, spark, fuel, compression, no engine will run without all three

Where is fuel guage grounded on 2004 buick

the fuel guage ground is the level sending unit, not a body ground, voltage is sent to the unit and the grond is the level guage resistor wich send signal back to the guage

Oxygen sensor

Somwhere along the lines someone might have installed an oxygen sensor eliminator kit. It basically sends a straight even signal back to the computer to tell it everything is ok. These are often used when people are trying to trick the computer on the vehicle to dump more fuel into the motor. I would check for a wire harness near the sensor that might just have a plug of some sort stuffed into it. If this is not the case, I would have to ask a few questions about the vehicle before I could give a more complete answer.
