IF you call the Mitsubishi dealer in you area they will have the code for your car on the computer. If you know the dealer that the car was first brought from it would be best to ring them. You will have to give them the vehicle year model and chassis numbers, if you have the original owners manual these numbers are in that book otherwise the are on the vehicle on the ID plate

I have a 2011 Ford Fusion S, I had to change the battery and now my radio will not work nor the aux or audio in general. The radio display is stuck to "Ford Fusion" please help! I just bought this car and...

When you changed the battery ,the radio read it as being stolen and placed a code lock into the system. This code can be obtained from the ford dealer if you can provide proof of ownership which you can enter into the radio via the control knobs. IT has nothing to do with fault codes but seeing as to how you have disconnected the battery often you may have to use a code reader to reset the CPU to obtain proper performance again. If you are doubtful as to how to set the code have the dealer service centre do it for you and write down the code in the owners hand book for the next time.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You must have the security anti-theft code for yours Audi radio from the car manufacturer! The sequence of programming is:
1. Push simultaneous "SCAN" and "RDS" keys until on the screen will appear "1000" displayed.
2. Release keys. No more push on "SCAN" and "RDS" keys because otherwise number "1000" will be considered as first safe code attempt.
3. By the #1 key you will set up the first safe code digit.
4. By the #2 key you will set up the second safe code digit.
5. By the #3 key you will set up the third safe code digit.
6. By the #4 key you will set up the four-th safe code digit.
7. Then push again simultaneous "SCAN" and "RDS" keys for confirm this safe code. On the screen will be displayed "SAFE" notice. Release keys! For few seconds a radio frequence will be displayed. The radio is now ready for use!

1998 mitsubishi montero sport radio code I changed my battery and the radio said code and off

You will need the code to unlock the radio. First you must leave the key in the ON position for one hour with the radio display on.
The radio will shut itself off, and next time you turn it on "code" will be displayed again.
To get your code you need to pull your radio out to read the serial number, then provide that to your dealer for decoding, or present a question here with the serial number and we can decode it for you and instruct you how to input it.

Radio locked after disconnecting battery

In your manuel there is instruction to unlocking the radio and you may have the code's written in the back. If it does ask for a code try 0000 and if that does not work try logging on to www.radio-code.com.
They can give you the instruction and codes you need to reset your radio. If you have a good relationship with the dealer they may be able to help you out too since they are always disconnecting and changing batteries.
Good luck and hope this helps.
