Door locks to side doors will not lock or unlock using either the key fob or door buttons. Back hatch will unlock using key fob

Check the fuse for the door locks first, then if nothing there look for a wiring diagram that shows the ground wire location and verify the ground is made. Also the driver side lock switch button could be the culprit

2006 Dodge Stratus, driver side door lock actuator not getting power. Replaced actuator didn't work. Need location of the relay wiring to try that next?

Nick:
I would not go and fix the relays: those are inside the BCM or "Body Control Module" located under the dashboard to the extreme left or driver's side. Believe me, it is a nightmare to remove from the car and very expensive to repair at specialist shops.
In my 2002 Stratus Sedan R/T Turbo (Mexico), the door locks started to ignore the door switches or the remote at about two years from new, but as it was an intermittent failure, I didn't go to the dealer to fix it under warranty. But after two more years and just out of warranty, the failure was more frequent. After six years of use, all the doors were ignoring the commands from either the door mounted switches or the remote.

The thing is, "modern" cars are designed with too much reliance on software and computerized modules to perform simple tasks previoulsly done with simple wiring and relays. This is the case with the door lock actuated by a BCM. In the older Spirit, LeBaron, Reliant etc. generation designs, you had three wires to the small motor actuating the door lock mechanism. But some "too-intelligent" so called automotive designers decided a "better idea": to multiplex the lock/unlock commands on only two wires, "saving" a few feet of copper wires, but requiring the use of a complex Module, that ends up being much more costlier, heavier and unreliable! (but in that way the too-intelligent software (ab)using designers were happy).

I solved my problem by disconnecting the door locks wiring to the BCM and paid a much lower price to a technician that installs cheap car alarms that have their own remote control. In that way i saved about $350 USD... you decide what to do! Best Luck, Amclaussen.

Windows will not work. Have drivers window in down position, others up. None of them work. Believe have lock off, as have tried and nothing works. Is there a fuse, if so where located or should I check...

relays could cause this as could a fuse,, but also check that lock switch,, with a meter you will be able to see if power is actually being allowed to pass through the locking switch.

All power locks, mirror and windows on passenger side stopped working on six cylinder 1996 grand jeep cherokee ltd. Is there a seperate fuse for the left side and where is it located?

No there is not a seperate fuse, but all power goes through driver door. First check to see if windows roll up and down using switches on drivers side. If they work then try the passenger side. If they don't work then the problem is with the passenger side switches. IF nothing works at on using either side switches then check the wiring through the kick panel and through the door, it could be that wire has been disconnected or cut. Good Luck.

I have the same problem everyone seems to have with the 2004 beetle convertible. I try to close the driver side door but the window sensor is not working. I played around with the door latch which...

there is a micro switch located in the door lock assy, sometimes the switch gets gum up, you have to take the lock out and clean it to repair.

No power to front passenger's door

Look for the connector on the wiring harness for that door. If that door was removed, the wiring harness would have to be disconnected so let that be your guide in searching for the connector to body connector.

It could be that your ignition pass key is not working properly. The computer in the vehicle is set to start the car only if the proper resistance is measured on the ignition key. If you have several sets of keys for that car, try the other keys. This is not a common fault, but never the less, it is a possibility.
