Question about Scion xB
Can't get the pivot bolt on my '05 scion xb's alternator to loosen so I am unable to get the belt replaced. any suggestions on how to get the alternator to move?
Undo the lock on the tensioner.for the other bolt, use what is known as a breaker bar, some oaf probably used an air gun to tighten the bolt, not a torque wrench. a breaker bar will give up to 300 lb feet of torque.
