Question about 2001 Ford Explorer

1 Answer

I have horrible noise coming from the windshield of my 01 Explorer. I had the windshield replaced about a year ago and never noticed the noise while driving in the city; now I'm commuting on the freeway and I might as well have my window down. What should I be looking for?

What I would do is look around the edges of the windshield where the molding trim runs along for an open gap. The molding trim should be flat against the windshield as possible. A open gap would cause a whistle type of noise during high speeds. An automotive supply store should carry a glue for hold the trim piece back down on to the windshield.
