Question about 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
I have a 2001 Jetta VR6 with 94,000 miles. It recently has 14 codes but I've replaced the mass air flow sensor and seem to have reduced it to 9 codes: 1269, 0134, 1225, 1227, 1229, 1230, 1425, 1472 and 1435. I know the O2 sensor needs replaced, but I'm at my wits end at trying to get this car to start in cooler weather. After many attempts, it will sometimes start unless its in winter weather. The check engine light does not come on.
It seems we were taken to the cleaners by a local dealer and this car has had many problems. I'd like to get rid of it!
Any ideas on what the problem may be?
The coil packs on these cars are notorious for cracking, start car and take a spray bottle and spray coil pack and if its faulty engine will stumble. cheap on ebay.
