leak stop is just a temporary remedy, figure out why its leaking its probably that your radiator core is completely corroded thats why its leaking as well as the heater core. that require a little excercise taking it off, removing the corroded part or pipe and replace. if your radiator is aluminum or plastic that needs complete replacement.
the problem is you drive cable are striped at time only one side moves or nothing you will have to take out seat buy new drive cabels and replace them it will be hard to remove seat if is stuck in wrong position this job is for volvo dealer if you make misstake you can damage motors or gears and the items very expensive vs just cable
There is not a way to manually adjust the seats, and in order to repair your stated issue, I will agree with you, it sounds like a cable issue. problem is, you have to time the cables, so that they will not continue to operate in a twisted state.
Take it to the dealer and ask the service person to help you enter the code. I am sure there going to be more then happy help you enter the code free of charge, since there going to want your business in the future. Good luck and hope this helps.
You need to remove the 4 nuts underneath the seat and take the seat out to replace the cable. usually the metal strip inside the cable has tiny line groves at both ends. This will wear off over the years.
It was a simple fix. Tilt the seat all the way back. The front/back motor is the second from front. Take off the piece that holds the cable to the motor. Mine was just loose. I out it back in and it started working. I read you may have to shorten the black sheathing that houses the cable. This would be easy as well. Just remove thye metal piece and cut some of the black off and re-attatch the metal piece. Re-assemble and enjoy the fact you did not give the dealer 300 dollars.
maybe you got pennies money stuck in the track if not you got 1 motor for that the motor goes in a assembly in there you have 2 cable a left and a right lock under the seat you probably got the right cale disconnect sometime there stuff that push under the seat and push that cable off if its that just push the cable back in let me know and please if you can take the time to rate this thank you pierre
p.s when you try to put the cable back in dont force to mush
