Is your battery is fully charged, your clamps on your battery clean and tight? Try this put your headlights on crank your engine if lights dim serverly and you hear Click..Click...Click..Your starter/solenoid is shot.If it srarts with a jump with the other car racing it's engine it could be your battery does not have the cranking amps. You can try to tap the solenoid with a handle of a screwdriver, or quickly jump the wires on the solenoid and see if the engine cranks.Good Luck

Also, check for corrosion around and in the wiring harness connection going into the solenoid, which, if standing in front of your truck, is mounted to the left, on your firewall.

SOURCE: 1992 Toyota Camry won't crank

Check the ground cable going from the battery to
alternator, then to chassis. Make sure there is no
rust at the chassis ground wire terminal, and that it
is very tight. The fusible link will be off the alternator
red power cable, usually, but not 100% on that car.
Good luck.

I have a 1992 toyota and it is very hard to start, some times it stop in the middle of the road and won't start unless you spray it with with a starter spay. It has been at the Toyota Dealers for two days...

This could be due to a faulty coolant temperature switch allowing too much fuel to enter the cylinder. I would also check all maintenance items (i.e. filters) just to be sure. This coud also be due to a faulty ignition module needing to cool for a moment. I am a little further north of where you are so don't hesitate to ask for further assisitance. Sounds like they need to put someone else a little more experienced on the vehicle!

Key turns and there is just a clicking noise

make sure your battery connections are clean, and tight, also on the solenoid, if you have bright lights, solenoid or starter problems.

If you are 100 percent sure that your battery is good then it is your starter going bad. I would take both the battery and starter to Auto Zone and they will test them both for you for free and let you know exactly which one needs to be replaced. Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!

get a new starter or starter selinoid, sounds like its hanging up possible stripped gear on starter of flywheel. If its a stick shift you can always put key in "run" position and have a couple friends push you in neutrel then when you gain speed put it in 3 gear and dump the clutch, if it starts you know the starter, selinoid, or flywheel is faulty
