The Coolant Sensor is inside coolant bottle; in this models is common ths message failed; clean the plug and reset your ECU alarms, if the message come on again, replace your coolant sensor. And, really, one message about a bad sensor/signal is one bad work engine.

Good luck.

How do i replace/install a heater core for a 1999 limited edition jeep cherokee 4.0 liter 6cyclinder

I would make sure the core is the problem. You may have a heater control valve that cuts off flow to the core by vac. or a blend door that cuts off air flow thru the core.
You will need a shop manual to replace the core. The dash and console have to come out, along with discharging the ac.

1996 Jeep Cherokee coolant sensor bad

This trouble is common in this models, I have one '93 ZJ and my signal Sensor Coolant Level also is ON for long time; first, try to clean the plug and reset the ECU. If the signal show again, maybe you need replace this sensor.

1997 jeep grand cherokee runs rich after long trips

Could have a bad map sensor. The Map sensor is located on the throttle body. I have seen countless Jepp that start blowing black smoke when they go bad. That would be a good starting place.
