You either have a poor ground causing the voltage to be held up and not flowing to the starter.
#2 the starter may be the cause,if it has a lot of starts on it, the inside can be worn and the armature is dragging.

What to do about vapor lock for a 1992 lincoln town car?

You can not have vapor lock on a fuel injected vehicle

The fuel either returns continually to the fuel tank
or is moving & sprayed thru the fuel injectors

Explain what the real issues are & what has been
done to correct

SOLNODE SWITCH GET HOT AND WILL NOT START

Change the starter and the solenoid. The starter is drawing to much current for the solenoid to handle. Meaning the starter is on it's way out and the solenoid is on it way to because of the starter.

How much will it cost to replace the rear air suspension on a lincoln town car 2000

This depends on whats needed, ive done alot of these, some just need the airbags and some need bags with seloniod valves on the bags and some need the compressor too, the labor is not bad, 200.00 labor plus parts ,you can replace allthe parts listed above, if just bags then about 100.00 labor plus parts, i found a good website that i deal with, i buy all air suspension parts from them and there parts are good, never had a problem, check out there pricing its at www.arnottindustries.com. hope this helps.

I just change the battery and cables on my 96 lincon town car and it started fine but after it runs for 20mins or so and you turn it off then it will not crank (no turning of starter at all) a hour later...

i think the starter is getting too hot. either heat from the exhaust manifold or cat. converter. check where the bat. cable connects to the starter. that little part is getting too hot. making the starter not work. you might replace the starter but after a short time it will do it again.

Car not starting after car runs for a while and weather is hot

have the starter tested because it sounds like a bad solenoid in the starter and it makes it get hot so it won't start
