EBay for 1977 Motor's Repair Manual and hope the steering gear section has a picture of yours in it. Copy the same section from the local library if you are lucky enough to have one with those on the shelves. You won't find specific info for your exact setup, just general guidlines to go by as that's all that's really needed by most mechanics. Powersteering or armstrong?

I need a detailed schematic of a 1990 ford f250 steering wheel column that includes directions for disassembly and reassembly

Go back to the dealer ,chat the storeman up nicely and he will print you off the parts picture so you some idea where it goes ,this vehicle is so oil that nothing is complicated about this motor as i repaired a 350 1989 model last week and apart from getting the plugs out after they had been in for 15 yrs their was nothing i found difficult ,just big and heavy with its twin rear wheels and a complete brake rebuild as well .Still think a ford transit diesel is a better motor though because at our fuel prices here in europe ? need i say more

Truck steering how do i adjust steering box

you should really never have to adjust unless you were rebuilding it, if theres alot of play in the steering then check the front end components, if every thing is tight then replace the gearbox, this is common on these trucks the gearbox wears,

1976 Maverick and the steering is too loose. May be the gearbox, can it be adjusted?

Yes it can, on top of the steering gear box there is a locking nut with a screw in the middle of it, loosen the lock nut and with a common screw driver turn the center screw in, clockwise for tighting steering and counter clockwise to loosen steering. That will take out what they call the play in the steering wheel.

Have a 1993 f250 with A/C, power steering. Is

There is a pulley on the tensioner but it may be best to replace the whole tensioner pulley assembly. There should be a bolt through the tensioner above the pulley. Once you remove that bolt you will be able to replace the tensioner.

1976 Ford F250 Emmisions

Whatever it had when it was sold in OR is what will be required in calif, it goes by engine calibration number, that is on a sticker on the valve cover, another way to get it is to run the VIN number on a Ford information computer, we call this the OASIS SYSTEM. Also check the emission sticker on the radiaor support under the hood.
