You will have to bleed the brakes again because if the pedal is spongy there is still air in the system. Make sure the reservoir is kept full as you are bleeding because you can get air in the top end when the air seems to have been bled from the caliper if the reservoir runs dry. A bad cv joint will give the symptoms you described. Did you notice it first when cornering?

Make sure brake hose not twisted. also possible shield from behind rotor rubbing its bolted behind hub & knuckle also check & make sure the metal shim for brake lining ears is not rubbing on rotor on the center edge. also sometime s there is a difference on inboard & outboard pads there is a dimple you may have switched. also with the wheel off & caliper mounted to knuckle you should be able to move in & out by hand if pins are good.

Its possible the brake pads have worn down again, if they are and , obviously , you need to change them. Pay attention to the brake caliper pistons, check that they are not sticking or seized and also the caliper slider. Free off these parts. Hope that helps

The car makes a howling noise while driving it

well did the noise start after the tires were rotated?could be choppy tires,,,if not ,i strongly think it sounds like a bad wheel bearing,,,,if you drive and while its making the noise turn left and right quick and see if the noise gets louder and which way turning makes it louder,,if you turn leftand it gets louder its usually the right wheels bearing as you are putting load on it, if it makes the noise louder while turning right its the left wheel bearing,,,got it

Grand Am clicking noise

I really doubt this can't be fixed, the car is 8 years old and most likely it may have some worn components in the front end like the Constant Velocity joints, also have the btrake pad anti rattle springs replaced or checked for condition, the brakes can make this noise if the springs loose there tension.

Brakes makin nosie

Sounds like a wheel hub assembly is bad without seeing it. Alot of GM vehicles have the ABS wheel speed sensors built into the hub assemblies. Should be able to narrow the noise down by driving the car slightly turn left and right noise should change from loud to soft when turning the wheel. ( if you turn left and noise gets louder hub on right front is noisey.Opposite will occur if left side is bad)

Front brakes make noise when applied after installing new pads.

it could be because they are dirty. also the noise could be the back brakes. if its a squeaking noise it could be that they are dirty or that they are cheep brake pads and for the first couple of weeks they squeak. also when you got your breaks changed did the break shop cut the rotors because that cleans them up and makes the rotors like new.
