have you replace your trans, or any of its components? you need to reset the memory, disconect negative cable for 5 minutes, reconect warm up engine dont drive it until fully warm up, take it for a test drive and do a couple star -stop at very ligth throtle until normal shifting is confirm, if this doesnot help there was a recall on ecu for this year corolla but you need to verify it at your local dealer, have them run your vin, good luck
Your Toyota is fuel injected, no carb. The problem is obviously a defective throttle position sensor (TPS). This is an easy fix. Just need a screwdriver and a new sensor.

this truck doesnt have a carb, this has a throttle body, its fuel injected,there are no adjustments,every adjustment is done from the factory, the computer controls the idle,trying to raise the idle will throw the tps readings off,
