look for data link under hood. get a jumper wire.hook it to terminal E1 AND TE1.IF YOU CANT LOCATE IT.GET A HAYNES MANUAL.IT WILL MAKE IT EASY TO LOCATE.
your position sensor is fixed. The ECU controls it so there's no real way to adjust it. However you can adjust the throttle cable and that will move your throttle plate inside the intake.
you may have missed a fuse or fusible link , there is a 100amp alternator fuse and a 50 amp fuse on that circuit , location of those 2 fuses are (left side of engine compartment) also there is a fusible link in that circuit right off the positive side of the battery , those big fuses don't look anything like a normal if that helps , cheers'
