What any Chilton's book won't tell you is that there is a wiper control module, it,s a dealer only part. Remove the glove compartment, take the two screws out for the trucks brain and and let it hang. The control module is behind it. Little box about 2" by 3", push in the round tabs and pull it loose. The dealer want's 196.00 bucks for it. I got it out of the junk yard for 38.00 bucks

Wipers not working

A little trick to try is untightening the mounting bolts of the wiper motor and then retightening. Sometimes its a matter of re-establishing a good ground.

The wiper parking problem is an internal wiper motor function. Some electric contacts are suppose to derail the motor and it is suppose to cycle into the locked position and turn off. Its last movements are automatic.

The intermittent part of the problem can be the contact switch on the turn stalk but there is a timer box on some models which the stalk switch controls. Some wiper motors have the timer box beneath a shield on the wiper motor. Those controls can be changed.

Can't find wiper relay on 94 ranger

Wipers do not require a relay. If your wipers are not functioning and a fuse is blown, the washer will not work either. If the washer works, check the wiper switch or the wiper motor, but wiper motors are normally very reliable.

Hi:
If your truck has a wiper switch that you rotate counter clockwise to get the intermittent wipe mode, and turn clockwise to get to the low and high settings, then your truck has a interval wiper relay module. You could have a bad wiper switch assembly too, as the intermittent part of the switch is seperate from the low and high wiper switch. It is a inexpensive part, less than $20 for the switch, and the interval wiper relay part is somewhat expensive, 70-100 bucks or so. My truck didn't have intermittent wipers when I bought it, so I went to a junk yard and removed a switch and a module from a wrecked truck for $40, and it has worked fine ever since. Maybe you can find a good used part to swap into your truck for testing? Once you buy new electrical parts, you cant return them!

How to change the wiper motor 93 f 250

you are NOT going to like it,but you have to take off the metal piece around the shafts to the wiper arms, between the windshield and hood,it really just needs to lift up to access the 2 bolts on top of the wiper motor, otherwise once you unbolt it,pull straight out and there is a bolt on the end of the wiper motor shaft, its a round shaft with 1 side ground flat, make sure you line it up,the wiper motor would be sold in an off position so adjustments will not be necessary.I just changed one 2 months ago,i believe the bolts that hold it on is 10mm,,, and 8mm or 7mm for the shaft bolt.
