Question about 2002 Dodge Neon
Could possibly be the input and or output shaft sensors on the transmission,i suggest replacing both at the same time,they are located on the front of the trans facing the radiator,thay are made of white plastic and thread into the trans they are different so do one at a time so u dont mix them up,hope this helps
