Question about 1993 Chevrolet Astro
93 Astro Van fuel pump situation. I replaced the 2 relays on fire wall ( why two i dont know. Manuals all say only one). no buzz from fuel pump. Then jumpered power to the test circuit and got a buzz and engine sputtered but wouldnt start ( residual pressure in fuel line maybe).
Can I bypass the line from the relay and connect the test circuit to the relay, and have it work safely?
It all depends on if the wire does or doesnt have power when u shut the key off, if it does the pump will run non stop even with the key out,i would suggest getting the relay working properly, also depending how u hook it up u dont want too much voltage runnin through the relay...u could melt it,hope this helps
