I have a 2001 740il BMW passener side low beam flickeing . I've replace that 100.00 bulb two times . can you tell me where the ballast and igniter are located?

Ballast and igniter (should be a single unit) is under the headlight. There should be a small access plate under the headlight. Using a flathead screwdriver, slide t out of the way. It will reveal two torx head screws (I believe a T27 torx bit). There is a hole that sits over the corner signals. Use a phillip's head screwdriver, and unscrew those to release the headlight from the side. Then, there are two bolts on the top of the headliht. Unscrew those. Unplug the harness and slide the headlight forward. You should see the ballast on the bottom.

How to replace the headlight assembly on 2004 BMW 325i

Four 8mm screws respectively hold in the head lamp. Two located right on top of the head lamp and two more below. Using a magnetic 8mm socket with an extension helps. Then the lower trim below the head lamp has to be pulled out, those are held in by a plastic tang on a plastic hook. Wiggle and see if you can remove it, if not then I'm afraid you'll have to drop your bumper, or at least one side of it in order to pull it out.

I would tape up the face/lenses of the head lamp before moving it around. Last thing you want are scratches on it.

Replace left tail light assembly on 2003 325i- have replacement lens, but not sure how to remove old cracked lens and install replacement

If you pull back the carpet in the trunk directley behind the lens, you should find the mounting screws. Some models only need to have a few plastic wing nuts removed without pulling back the carpet.

How to replace passenger side headlight assembly on 2001 BMW 325i

The E46 2001 325i headlight assembly is held down by 4 bolts. Question is where they are and how to get to them. The 4 bolts require a 10mm wrench.

There are two bolts on top of the headlight assembly. And two more near the back of the assembly, near the area where you would change a headlight bulb.

There is just one more trick to this. Please refer to this trim:

This trim hooks on to the side fender, just under the turn signal. You have to unhook this.

Then the entire headlight assembly (including the turn signal) can be slided out together.

Low beam bulb blown 2008 Sorento LX

Welcome to Buying Headlights Anonymous. If you have a Kia, you'll soon own shares in Sylvania.
I have an '03, and if the mounts haven't changed, you get at the bulbs by opening the hood and removing three screws that hold the headlight assemply - large screws in plastic tabs. ONce they're out, pull forward on the inside edge (toward the centre of the grill) of the headlight assemply. Should slide out toward you - might hear a 'snap'. Once it is out, unscrew the 'cap' behind the light, diengage the spring clip and pull out the bulb.

How do I safe remove the headlight assembly on a BMW 325i premium package?

There are 2 8mm screws on the top of the headlight and 2 identical looking screws on the backside of the headlight assembly (you will need about a 6 in extension for those 2). Directly under the headlight assembly you might have a painted trim piece. The trim is anchored toward the center of the car and can be released by pressing the tab in. If you want to leave it on when removing the light, it is also ancord in at the fender corner. You will need to remove the turn signal first.. There should be a small hole about 1 1/2 inches behind the turn signal. If you see a tab in hole, carefully press down while pulling turn signal out.
