What did u try?? recharging the system??? i know the slightly older caddy systems had 4 a/c sensors,2 pressure sensors and 2 temp sensors,u should have it scanned and see if there are any codes for any a/c system sensors

Air condition blows out warm air

The AC compressor automatically engages when you have your car in the defrost setting regardless of what the temperature setting is, it removes moisture from the air that's coming out to keep your windows from fogging up.

I have a 1999 323i BMW. The AC doesnt blow cold (on cool days it blows cool temperature but not common A/C Cold Air, Hot Days it blows Warm/Hot Air). The heater blows warm air but definitely not common...

First things first.....You must have the air conditioning system hooked up to an a/c system machine and then checked for leaks and also read low and high side pressures. If there are leaks then low Freon (R134a) content and low refrigerant oil can cause the a/c system to not engage the a/c compressor which basically means you will not have proper defrost functionality nor regular air conditioning. Most shops, when working with your air conditioning, will install air conditioning dye to assist them in locating leaks and is the first step in diagnosing all a/c systems. Air condition not blowing cold air

Is any air coming out at all?

If warm air is being blown out, then your refrigerant level is probably low. The car is fitted with a safety cut off, to stop the air conditioning system working if the refrigerant (R134a) level is low.

This cut off only effects the air conditioning, the blower would still function normally.

The air conditioning, the blower fan everything stopped working, on 2002 Nissan Sentra. Does anyone have any suggestions?

One suggestion. Have you checked the fuses ?

I would check the AC or blower fuse to start with. If you have the drivers manual it will show you where the fuse box is. Typically there are at least two boxes to check. One in the Engine compartment and one in the passenger cabin.

Look inside the lid of the fuse box to see which fuse may apply to the AC circuits or the blower and check to see if they are blow. the metal link between the two posts that plug in. If the link is missing you need to replace the fuse with one of the same rating. Make sure you know where you took the fuse out from and put it back in the same slot if its good. Check all the main fuses if possible to see if any have blown and replace if they have.

Air Conditioning

Try changing the lower temp sensor in the air duct on the drivers side. I bought one and never replaced it. before the part arrived I took the lower sensor out and taped it up and put it back under the dash... not in the air duct housing were it belongs. believe it or not it works so well I did not even see a need to change the thing.

Air Conditioning - blows warm

Hi

If the fuses are all ok and you can hear the aircon clutch clicking when you attempt to switch it on, then I think it may be time for a re-gas! You could do it yourself with a can of gas from an autofactors, but you wouldn't get the pressure right, and, there would still be old gas in there.

If you took it to a garage, however, they would **** out all the old gas, and then hold the vacuum in there for a while to check for any leaks. Then they would refill to the exact pressure with fresh new gas.
