My 01 Passport tries to shut down on bumpy roads. Scanned with OBD2 and system passed. Also checked wiring to fuel tank and O2 sensors. Any ideas on the cause?

No codes, system passes when scanned. Check trans light blinks on when it happens.

Check wiring to fuel pump, wiring to O2 sensor on exhaust system and wiring to injector and distribution.

If the car is stalling on bumpy road, then it is probably a bad contact that can affect injection or fuel pump.

Try scanning the ECU for code with an OBDII code reader after the problem occurs. This will return error codes that can reveal where the problem is.

Here the tool: OBD II Code Reader

Car dies when going over really bumpy roads

If the brake pedal goes hard right BEFORE the car dies, and not after, then you could have a problem INSIDE the brake power booster. try to verify this next time it dies at a stop, if you can safely pull the dead car off the road into a driveway (or try to make it stall in a bumpy parking lot) - then before you try to restart the car, open the hood, pull off the rubber hose where it's plugged into the brake power booster --> you SHOULD hear a big "Swoosh" of air being sucked into the booster because there's supposed to be a strong vacuum there even after the car stops running. if you get nothing there, your car is dying of an excessive vacuum leak through the brake booster.= bad booster.

Check all the connectors going to the radio and the speaker that is acting up. Also check the radio antenna ground if this happens when the just the radio is playing. Unplug them and plug them back in a few times, there may be a corrosion problem.

My tahoe acts like it wants to cut off while driving on bumpy road then its ok for a while.

You either have a bad connection from your coil pack or bad ground. Bad connection somewhere. Check all connections and make sure all spark plug wires are on tight.

Possibly the emergency fuel shut off valve, heavy impact is intended to shut fuel supply off, may be getting faulty, sometimes really rough bumpy roads can shut supply off, check your manual to see if equipped.
