I have a 2005 Buick Rendezvous with a 6 CD player. I only have 1 CD in the player but get an error message “changer Full” when I try to eject the CD. Any suggestions?

SOURCE: 6 disc changer will not eject cds==

I had the same problem for months. I checked the owners manual, checked the fuse box, everything I could think of. Then, today, I did some online research and someone said one of the CD's is probably just jammed or slipped out a bit. The suggestion was to gently slide a credit card over the disk (through the door/slot, which in my case was partially open). I just tried it. The door closed and the message said "initializing". It worked! The CD player is back to normal.

SOURCE: have a 2001 mustang radio w/6-CD player message on

If the changer isn't ejecting you will need to physically remove the changer and take the over off to physically remove the cartridge. This is a bit of a trick to do, you may need to take it to the dealer (sorry to say).

There might be a reset button on the face of changer next to eject button (about a 1/8" push it w/ a pentip) you could also try unplugging the changer for a minute and plug it back in.

Also, could try this article about 2001-2004 Mustang CD Player Installation
or you can go to the dealer, They will remove your radio, Write down the code thats on the back of the radio. They will then call a stereo repair shop and they will send the dealer a new radio. When the dealer recieves the radio., They will remove yours, Send it back to the repair shop so they can remove the cd's for you, and then return the cd's to the customer.

Hope helps.

Jaguar 6 disc player not working

If you are getting power to the unit and you hear it clicking and making a sound when you hit the eject button, the this means that a CD is jammed in the track and while it was changing it got stuck and now causes you to see an ERROR message.
What you do is while hitting the eject button, wiggle the CD MAGAZINE up and down and side ways. This will cause the CD to fall into place and your magazine will pop out.

My 2005 Chevy Malibu's 6 CD changer will not play CD's, and will not eject them either. When I press the eject button it appears to try and eject as I hear movement but after a short bit of clicks I get a...

Extreme heat can cause warping and the cd will not evenly eject or exit the slot. the player may have to be removed and the cd physically extracted from the player. Delco players have a lot of plastic cogs, flywheels and gears in them that get old and crack or split. Hence, the player can no longer spit out the CD.
