It will be the bigger port and the only port that will attach to the hose of a refill can.

How and where to add freon to a1995 sedan deville

Verify ambient temperature is above 65 degrees F.

1. Safety> - safety glasses, long sleeves and gloves, (exposure to refrigerant can cause frostbite).

2. Attach hoses to manifold> assembly, (hi, lo, and fill).

3. Remove caps from service ports, (Low press. Larger tube from evaporator to accumulator - passenger side over fender well; High Pressure - smaller tube from evaporator along firewall towards driver's side). Verify service> ports are clean.

4. Attach low press. and high press hoses to proper service ports.

5. Start car>, reset low refrig code, and turn ac on high and fan on high.

6. Read gauges and compare with chart provided with gauge set.

7. If low and high press readings are both low, then system needs recharge.

8. To recharge, attach fill hose to can of R134a and slowly open low press valve>, (NOT HIGH PRESS VALVE), until low press side reads 40 psi.

9. When flow stops and pressures stabilize close valves> and disconnect manifold from service ports and refrigerant can. Replace service port caps.

Cannot locate valve to add 134a refrigerant in a 2000 lincoln navigator

What your looking for is called a service port. On a 134a system there are two of them, located in the refrigerant lines. One port will be larger diameter than the other. The large one is the "high" side and the small one is the "low" side. refrigerent is added to the low side with the system running. You really should use a manifold gauge set to see what the pressures are before adding any refrigerant. If the system has too much, it is as bad as not enough.

I need to know where the recharge port is to recharge A/C on a 1999 Ford Expedition

Your A/C system will have two service ports, there isn't any "recharge" ports. You add refrigerant to the LOW side only. Prior to adding any refrigerant, you need to check the system pressures with a manifold gauge set. If the system has enough charge and there is another issue, adding refrigerant can make for worse problems. Automotive A/C is best left to the right person with the proper equipment to service them. If you follow the lines from the compressor, the LOW side will be the smaller diameter of the two service ports.

My 98 catera has 92k the ac does not blow cold how do you charge can i use those cans at walmart think r123 and where is the hook up low side thanks

Yes, you can use that. As far as the location of the down port, I would need your engine size. The air lines are alluminum. Just follow the chrome looking lines and you should be able to find your service port. It will have a cap on the port. It looks like a tire valve but much bigger.

Where do I ad transmission floid ta a cad catera

These transmissions are sealed units and do not have a dipstick..there is a plug on the side of the transmission underneath for service, but you don't add anything if you don't have a leak. I have a 1998 Catera.

How to clear service ac light on 1988 cadillac deville

I would first reset the low refrigerant safety feature by disconnecting the battery for 3 or so minutes.

Then, I would charge the system with 2 or 3 cans of R134a if equipped with the quick connect low side port while the car is running and the a/c is on the lowest temperature setting (60 deg. F).

Where is the low service port on the 2005 chevy equniox

if you notice the size of them , the bigger port is the high side , and the smaller of the 2 is the low side , you will add freon to the smaller port - the low / suction side .
