2001 daewoo lanos Do the timing marks on the camshafts need to meet at every rotation of the crankshaft, or every other. What is the coil order for the spark plug wires

The camshaft marks will line up at every other rotation of the crankshaft. The crank turns two revolutions for every one revolution of the camshaft.

The coil order-do you mean the firing order? It is 1-3-4-2. Cylinders 1 & 4 share one coil. Cylinders 2 & 3 share the other coil. On the coil pack, #1 is to the outside, then # 4 inward of #1. On the other coil, # 3 is to the outside, and # 2 is inward of # 3. (These should be marked or identified on the coils.) So looking at the coil pack, it will be 1-4-2-3. But the firing order is 1-3-4-2, as all 4 cylinder engines are.

Spark plug wiring diagram

Uh....V-8 or V-6?? If it's a V-6, the coil pack is marked 1 - 6. The cylinders are number 1 - 3 starting from the pass. side front of the head, 4 - 6 on the driver's side of the head starting from the front of the engine. Now, we need to know if you have a V-8 engine. Feel free to send me an email for that particular firing order. [email protected]
