How to replace a 1995 2.4 v6 isuzu rodeo alternator belt?

Just do a search on google. (1995 2.4 v-6 Isuzu alternator belt diagram) There are plenty of diagrams showing the belt routing. Put the belt on all the pulleys you can. Take a wrench and pull back the tensioner, slip the last part of the belt over the last pulley. Then, release the tensioner arm and it will tighten up the belt. Turn it over and check it again to be sure it is on straight.

My 1998 isuzu rodeo has been running very poorly, then it will run fine. Someone told me it is the intake manifold gasket. It has been doing this for awhile. The serpentine belt broke as well. I believe...

NO!. tensioner has bearing to make it roll. just remove the belt to make have full access to the tensioner. then remove the bolt on center of tensioner. once it was removed you has a free hand to change bearing.

Need a diagram on how to in stall a serpentine belt on a 99 isuzu rodeo v6 with air conditioning

Remove the upper radiator shroud. Remove the fan by undoing the 4 bolts that hold it to the water pump. Using a wrench turn the tensioner pulley hex nut to release tension on the belt. Remove the belt and replace with a new one. Refer to diagram for routing detail.

How do i change serpentine belt on 1999 isuzu rodeo

Serpentine belts have what's called a tensioner pulley. It pivots and you have to use a wrench to rotate it away from the from the belt and hold it there while you slip the belt off of one of the pulleys. Be careful it has a very strong spring in it.

Serpentine belt install 2001 isuzu rodeo 2wd 4cylinder auto

I believe that you need a 14MM or 15 MM wrench a long one would be the best since the spring is hard to move. There should be a nut on the tensioner pully #6 on the picture below. This is where you need to move the tensioner with one hand and pull the belt off with the other. It might be easier with 2 people. Remember the belt routing it will help when installing the new belt. Good luck.
