The temp?? do you Kalvin. Kalvin is the term that is used to describe class, or colour, lets say you want super crystal white, you would get @6000K blueish colour @8000K or like a purple @10000K or 120000K. I hope this helps.

To convert a car or motorcycle to be HID equipped, you must purchase or use the following units. Ballasts (amplifiers), Igniters (if not built into ballast), Hid bulbs, and 20 amp fuses (for startup).
If your car or bike uses a sealed halogen beam you will need a sealed beam conversion. Other options include wiring harness, upgraded factory harnesses, and relays. The kind of bulbs you need to get is H4 bulbs, Do not just buy 100 watts bulbs and replace it with 50-55 watts standard bulbs and not using a blast unit. Most people don't realized just buying and replacing HID bulbs will give the looks, yes it will but people don't realize replacing standard bulbs to a higher wattage will soon or later will burn, melt and fried you stock wires and connectors up, the reason why is the higher wattage bulbs used and draw so much current from those wires for the bulbs output. If you fried those head lights wiring hardness and connectors, your be in deep trouble, they don't sell those wiring hardness from factory or dealer. Make sure you get a complete unit Ballasts (amplifiers), Igniters (if not built into ballast) unit and the bulbs should come with complete kit. You can get any brand you like but as long is made pacific to you car and model, that way is all plug and play, no cutting or modification is needed. To find out which is the best brand will depend on your budget.Type and brands will be people biase opinion, so you have to make your own decision on research going on the website reading and draw your own conclusion according to your budget, for example, my opinion is that onkyos systems is the best home reciever and others belive in kenwoods.

Hi I have a 2009 Saturn Outlook and I HATE to drive at night the headlights ****!! can I replace them to be stronger??

Hi, I have a 2009 Saturn Outlook and have the same problem. Part of the problem is that they have projector headlamps that do a great job of directing the light to the road but restrict a lot of light output. The solution is to upgrade to "HID" lighting. These cars come with the option from the factory but this can be very costly. I replaced my bulbs with aftermarket HID lights and I can see great! It is like driving during the daytime. I have tried many different brands of aftermarket hid's and have found this company to be the best for the money. Here is the website. www.ddmtuning.com , click on the "hid kits" tab, then on DDM Slim Ballast HID Kit 35W or 55W. Once on this page, go to the right of the page and choose the 55watt H11 bulbs, these are the ones that will fit the outlook. then choose your color, i chose 6000k becuase they are a nice crisp white and give off the most light. the higher the temperature the more blue or purple they will look. **make sure you also order the upgraded harness for the lights, GM uses such small wiring for the headlights now that you may have problems with only one light turning on without this kit. if you call them, they are very helpful and can help you with the whole process. hope this helps, this all costs under $100 compared to over a $1000 from the dealer.

I replaced my main bulbs with hid xenon in my 98 range rover hse

First let me just explain something about putting HID bulbs in a reflector headlight, then I'll get to answering your question. High end cars use something called a projector with their HID bulbs and these projectors focus the light into patterns that won't blind other drivers with very perfect cutoffs (no light goes above a certain line). To retrofit a projector into your stock housing it takes a lot of work and careful measurements and thus a lot of time. But this is the only way to do a HID retrofit the right way.
Putting a HID kit into a reflector housing as you did, also makes light scatter everywhere, which creates many hotspots or high concentrations of light that make it much more difficult to see the road. Not only do HID kits in relfector housings make it more difficult to see, they are hugely illegal, and can/may get you pulled over and ticketed by a police officer.
The best thing you could do insted of putting a HID kit in your relfector housing is to get higher wattage bulbs, OSRAM makes some great H4 overwattage bulbs. http://www.rallylights.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=6
If you purchase from rally lights (you need to purchase them in sets of two( I wouldn't go over 85/80 watt bulbs because it could melt your housing.)
Also make sure your headlights with stock bulbs are aligned correctly, most of the time this alone makes a huge difference as headlights droop over the years.
If you are set on using your HID Kit illegally and blinding all other drivers on the road and willing to live with the risk of getting pulled over by any cop you run into. You will need to figure out how to trick ecu into thinking regular headlights are being used because its detecting the power being drawn for your HID lights to be a fault in the system that needs to be replaced. You can do this by wiring in a 55watt resistor to the circuit.

HID low beam headlight replacement for 2003 lexus es300

The HID bulbs are very easy to change, and can be bought online for much less than from the dealer. Check sites like xenondepot and Ebay for Phillips D2R (for reflector headlamps) HID bulbs and you can replace them yourself.

HID headlights for esteem

There are retrofit kits for your car, but they're expensive. If you're needing better headlights I would look for a aftermarket high wattage halogen bulb. If you just want the cool look then Sylvania Silverstar bulbs are the closest low cost alternative. They're not the same as HID but they're close at a fraction of the cost. As far as HID in India, your best bet is looking on the Internet. Most HID kits that would fit your car are 200 to 400 dollars US. Good luck and don't forget to vote
