No, its a totally different one. Why not go to car-part.com and look for another yard near you or go to the parts store like Autozone.

Steering knuckle will not go back into control arm need help 2002 ford taurus

Ford engineers should be shot for this. You can buy the special tool shown below. Use it to lift the strut and knuckle up enough to get the ball joint on. Or, loosen the engine cradle bolts on that side and drop the cradle down enough to bet the ball joint stud into the control arm. Ford engineers should be shot for this bad design.

Rr hear bumping noise and squeeking noise what is it. 1990 ford tarus 3.0 makes it sound like it's the rr window but I think maybe strut or strut ring? should I replace hole strut or is it the strut

that is a strut, the rubber is squeeking, but if its making a bumping noise you need to replace the strut and rubbers, that will take care of your problem.

Replaced struts on 1999 ford taurus but when turn left or hit a bump makes a clunck noise sometimes

Sounds like somthing is loose. Identify the corner and pull that unit apart. If you find no loosness, replace strut.
This presumes no clunk noise until this repair event.

Loud noise in rear of car. sounds like a loose 2003 ford taurus

it is quite possible that you have a bad strut mount, noticeable by rubber moving from metal, or a leaking strut, looking at the strut you would see hydraulic fluid on it. also sometimes removal and disassembly is the only way to tell. also you could check for bad sway bar links or bushings. hope this helps

Lower ball joint replacement 1996 ford taurus. wiil I need to remove the the joint houseing from strut?

You remove lower control arm of the chassis where they are located . Do not remove upper mounting strut bolts, remove only two bolts that hold strut to sterrink knuckle.

Would struts from a 1998 ford taurus fit a 1998 ford escort

No, the bottom of the strut does not have the fasteners for the brake lines, the internal stroke (suspension travel) of a strut on an Escort is 1.8 inches longer than the Taurus, also the extended length (suspension height) on the Taurus is 3.37 inches longer than the Escort. Let me know if this helps.

you will need sockets and a socket wrench, a screwdriver, jacks and jack stands, and a set of combination wrenches.

also this site should help, it's a very thorough step by step on strut removal
