Question about 2003 Chevrolet Impala

2 Answers

I have a chevrolet impala 2002, my air conditioning slowly quit working. first speeds 1-2 quit and i could only use speeds 3-4-5. then a couple days later speeds 3-4 quit working and i could only use speed 5. now speed 5 has quit, so i thought it must have been a relay. when i looked at the fuse panel under the hood i seen three different relays that said "air cont #1", "air cont. #2" and "air cont. #3" could this be the problem? thanks

No. Most likely it is the blower module. It is on the passenger's side lower part of the dash panel.

The heated seat (drivers side) in my 2002 impala quit working fuse are good.what can i do to fix this problem?

The element may be bad. Check at the wire harness coupling under seat with a test light to be sure you have current there. If you do then it is probably the element. In that case I advise taking it to the dealer or reputable shop for repair.

My 2002 chevy impala's driver information system and air condition will not come on, what could be causing this?

All of this stuff is electronically controlled by a module, have it scanned for fault codes and proper operation.

In my 2002 chevy impala only cools down in the passenger side but dose not on the driver side. what is wrong?

I assume that you are talking about your air conditioning. The passenger side blows cold and the drivers side is warm. I had the same problem on a couple of my cars, including my 2002 Impala.
I also assume that you know how to use the climate controls for driver vs. passenger.
You need some freon. It may not need very much... maybe 8-12 ounces.
if you're semi-skilled, you can try it yourself with a kit from the parts store. The dealer or shop will charge you at least $125 and they will look for the leak.
It sounds like you have a slow leak, and that could be tough to find.

I have a 2006 chev impala. The air conditioning cuts in and out w/o ever cooling the passenger compartment. I have charged the system with R-134. It cools for just a couple of minutes then quits. It will...

you could have over charged the system ?? or the operating flaps in the heater unit are not working ,find the inlet and outlet pipes for the AC where they enter the vehicle and see if one pipe is hot and the other cold ?? the big pipe should be cold and the thinner one hot
