I would replace the oil sending unit. It is the sensor that measures oil pressure and turns the light on if too low. It's a simple process and here is a link to a "How to" article...

Check engine light is blinking on and off

it indicates a problem and should be investigated immediately
it reports on the engine ( check oil level, water level, charge rate ) and transmission ( check oil level if auto and gear selection process)
have the fault codes run asap to determine if the problem is going to costly or just sensor failure

Check the oil pump. It may no longer be working and your car may have a safety feature on it to prevent the car from starting.

Oil light blinks on

If your oil level is good, that is between the low and high marks, that light blinking is an indicator there is a problem with your oil pressure. The light flashing could be low oil level, a bad oil pressure sensor, your oil pump going out or a clogged line or pick up. Start by checking your oil level, then test the sensor if both are good drain your oil and pull the oil pan off to see if the pick up is clogged, if it is clean it. If everything is good at this point then the problem is the pump itself and you'll need to replace the pump.

My '98 Plymouth Grand Voyager starts with Low Pressure Light problms a few days ago. In the morning, when I start the engine, everything goes OK. A few miles later, in idle position or when the RPM go...

Check oil level. Make sure you're using the right weight oil. If those are good, you've either got a bad oil pressure sensor or pressure problems with the pump or worn engine bearings. Could be a sitcking pressure relief valve in the pump. But also could be a worn engine

1992 honda accord 245,000 miles oil light blinking while idling and once while I was driving the oil level is good. what could be the problem

Oil light relates to oil pressure, not oil level. If engine has not been rebuilt, it is safe to assume that it is nearing the end of its life. Low oil pressure light goes off on increased rpm´s , and hence, pressure goes up. You can extend the life a little bit by switching to heavy oils, such as 20W-50, but eventually it also wont be enough, and will start fouling the plugs. Check the oil level, because extremely low levels of oil can also produce a low pressure warning.

Blinking Oil light. Despite plenty of oil.

It may mean you have any of the following:
A faulty sensor
A leak (sensor is picking up a reduction in pressure)
A faulty oil pump

Oil light blinks and oil is at the max in my 07 dogdge charger

oil light normally blinks for 2 reason. low oil pressure or low oil level. if the level is good and since its a 2007 i would hope that it was getting pressure. so its prolly the sensor. you can either remove the sensor and have someone check it. electrician hopefully. or you can just replace it

1992 VW Polo 1.3L Coupe: warning light mystery

Bought a very reputable diy service manual for the vehicle, and that plus a bit of thought and nous gave me the cure: no intrinsic problem other than loose relay connections. Went round with the wiring diagrams as guide checking all electrical connections in tight and relays fuses etc all good. Switched on and no problem any more.

By the way, vehicle is 1992 VW Polo - not Fox (which in UK is a variant of the Polo)
