This is a great website for all Murano owners. I've you've got a problem, it's highly likely somebody else has had that same problem and can tell you what you need to do.

SOURCE: Replace rear wiper on 2005 Murano

You probably already figured this out, but you have to remove the wiper arm completely in order to replace the wiper blade.

The blades are an unusual size (somewhere around 14 1/2") and I believe they are only available from a Nissan dealership. They include printed instructions in the box but just in case, this is from the official Nissan service manual:

Why does ATF leak from power steering system?

Seals worn and leaking or hoses damaged or hose connections leaking or hydraulic rack leaking. Need inspection to determine exactly where the leak, then buy replacement part(s) and have installed...and replacement power steering fluid too and consider replacing the serpentine belt that drives it at same time.

Beeping sound in 2005 nissan murano

Mine did the same thing. I had the battery replaced on the controller.and it still beeped. Then I took my key and put it in the ignition, without turning the key and took it out. Did this like 6 times and the long beep finally stopped.

Floppy visors in 2005 Murano

I'd recommend checking salvage/junk yards, ebay for used ones. The visor mounts are worn, this is whats causing them to drop. These worn parts are not sold seperately. hopefully this helps!!

When should the timing belt on a 2005 nissan marano be replaced ?

Hello tbyers006: My name is Roger and I will help you. According to what the shop manuals show. Your vehicle has a 3.5 V-6 engine. This motor does not have a timing belt. This engine uses a timing chain. Timing chains have no scheduled replacement. Should you have further questions please just ask. Please rate the answer you received. This way I know the answer was helpful. Thank You for using Fix Ya. Roger

Belt squeaking on nissan murano /2005...how do you tighten??

they may not be your problem, find out why you had to replace the belts in the first place. If it was time and they did not squeak and now they do, I would take it back and allow the shop to make it right, nobody is perfect, give them another try then make a judgement call.they might know what to do and you will be very happy.

2005 nissan murano sl, with rattling sound when accelerating

I recently experienced the same symptom with my '05 Murano and it was not a fuel problem. The dealer listed the cause as dry axle splines and replaced both front drive shaft assy's. Note that this was done as warranty with no cost incurred by me.

ALTERNATER

Replace the battery first with a new one , at least to test it, if battery is not fully charging it may be the cause. After check that the alternator belt is well in place, with a good grip and is not squealing. If not you may fix it just replacing the belt or putting it back in tension.
More likely it is a problem with the alternator.
There is a factory recall on 2005 Murano alternator, if this is your model contact Nissan, as you may be entitled to a free repair job at your local concessionary.
Check here:
Auto Recalls: 2005 NISSAN MURANO - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:ALTERNATOR ...
If not you will have to replace the alternator, in this case I suggest contacting a qualified mechanic.
Here you can buy the part
