Hi. i have a 1987 f150 v8 .170,000 kilometers have had since 1995. recently it started not to start after running it awhile. it has to sit 2 to 4 hours before it will start again.runs good, not over heating.checked every thing over, asked a lot of people no body knows why. thank you. bill
Try replacing the ignition module on the side of the distributor(common problem) also take the dist. cap off and poke the pick up module inside the dist.and see if its the consistency of bubble gum,if it is replace the distributor also, hope this helps
