Here is a link to a free set of videos on the subject. It will guide you through the entire process... you won't need to watch all of the videos, but I think videos 2-5 will give you what you need.

Another valuable resource is having a diagram for the serpentine belt so you can put it back correctly. You didn't say which engine you have, so this link will take you to a site with the diagrams... simply choose which engine you have and belt specs will come up. Click on the small camera icon next to "serpentine belt" and the diagram will appear. Good luck!

Sounds like something has slipped timing, camshaft most likely. If timing belt slipped, replace and set timing properly. Hopefully, valves did not get bent.

Where is the fan motor resister on a dodgr ram 1 ton located and how does one get to it

The blower motor resistor is mounted to the bottom
side of the HVAC housing near the blower motor.
It can be accessed for service from underneath the
instrument panel.

Find the blower motor and there is a wiring harness going to the resistor just to the bottom right of the blower motor. The resistor is held in with 2 screws. It may be easier to remove the resistor before messing with the wiring harness. Sometimes it's tough to figure out how to release them when looking upside down. It also will help if you have the new one so you can see what you're looking for.

2006 dodge ram 1500

Your rims are not properply seating on yje hubs.make sure yje center hole on the rim is fitting over the axle hubs. Check for chamfering of the inner edge of the rim hole so the radius on the hubs don't eep the wheel from fully seating.. After market rims are not generic fit. You risk losing a wheel going down the road if fit is not corrected.
