How do I remove front pasenger door panel? cant get past door lever opening mechanism. It's a nissan micra which is not on model options list - so I just picked murana without knowing what a murano is.
when removing most vehicle interior door panels, a little jiggling is often required. However, double check and ensure that you have removed all securing screws and GENTLY pulled the panel and the plastic push-studs that secure it to the door sheet metal.
Check that there is not a "finishing" piece at the door lever opening which will have to be GENTLY removed and there may be a panel securing screw hidden behind it. Sometimes it is just easier to remove the securing screws from the actual door lever which should result in more area to work with.
Lift the fully released door panel up slightly, then rotate it untill you see the aperture is diagonal to the door lever opening, then carefully ease the panel out past the door lever.
A word of warning all modern carts use plastic securing / holding sevices, like push-studs, clips, 1/2 clip[s etc. They are extremely brittle and break very easily. Exercise extreme caution when removing the panel and even more when re-fitting it to the door. Do NOT force any fitting into it's receptacle unless you are POSITIVE it is in alignment. You might like to put some liquid soap on the plastic securing pins /studs/etc. The soap will ease the entry and will not harm any fittings and will eject it's self in a short period of time.
You may wish to invest in a trim removal tool. They are inexpensive and will pay for it's self the first time that you use it.
