Question about 2006 Jeep Commander
Jeep commander clicks once when turning the key and won't start. It is not the battery, it's been checked. What could it be?
The starting issue is the same I had on my 2005 Grand Cherokee. The wire coming from the ignition (key area) to the Starter the connection is bad. The shop replaced the lead and it is perfectly fine... it cost $70. I dont know the techincal terms.. but it was easy to fix- the problem is water and junk gets splashed up by the front tire and corroded the wire into the sarter.... that's all it was.

Check the starter relay and EATX relay. If these aren't bad replace the starter.
