in a ford explorer sport there will be a short in the harness going to the multi-function switch. This short is usually located around 6 inches lower than the plugin. If not at the plugin.

The ford explorer sport track. Will have a short either at the plug of the multi-function switch or 6 inches down where the column bends the wires during tilt.

Why is my left turn signal blinking really fast? no brake light on that side but bulbs are good.

Blinking quickly is either a bad bulb or bad circuit/connection. If the bulb works OK when switched to the other side you will probably need to have a mechanic look at it.

Sounds like a burnt out bulb, that fast blink is to tell you a bulb needs replaced.

Tail lights out brake lights out turn signal blinks right no matter which way you pull lever 01 explorer sport trac

It sounds like a bad earth connection in the vehicle rear wiring loom. Check the earth wire that runs from the globe sockets in the light units and any connectors in the wiring loom near the light assemblies as well as where the earth wire is attached to the body. If necessary, remove, clean thoroughly by removing any corrosion or paint and re-attach securely.

check the wiring to the rear sockets, including grounds then work your way forward, check the brake light switch then the signal light switch which i figure is bad but no sense replacing till you know everything else is good

2003 Ford Explorer Sport rear turn signal acting up

if it's only the rear turn signal that does this, check the plug where the bulb snaps in. if loose or bad connection to bulb, it will sometimes work and sometimes not. if its both the front and rear turn signal bulbs, could be the combination switch. these were common failures on fords

Right read blinker/break light dont work, turn signal blinks rapidly

It's the bulb. There are two filliments in the bulb. One is for when you turn your lights on and the other is for breaking and blinker flashing. When the break filliment goes bad it causes the blinker to flash very rapidly. 100% the bulb. Change it and all will be good again. P.S. if it were a fuse none of the break lights or blinkers would work.

2001 Explorer Sport ,Rear Driver Brake Light and Turn Sig. Broke

Rear lights are double filament bulbs one side for the lights other side for the brake/turn signals so it still may be a bulb. Do u have a test light or volt meter you can check to make sure u have power there when brakes or turn signals are activated. Or just try another bulb.
